From the various Marvel-Netflix series’, “ Warrior”, “ Wu Assassins” and a plethora of other streaming and broadcast series, action on the small screen now rivals and very often surpasses anything on the big screen, and a great deal of the credit for that belongs to the standards set by “Into the Badlands”. Premiering in November 2015, “Into the Badlands” elevated action on the small screen to a whole new level in its six-episode first season Fast-forward just a few years, and not only did “Into the Badlands” continue to crush it throughout its run, but action-driven television across the board would follow its lead.
